Congratulations to all the Half Marathon runners!

1,000 runners took part in the event, organised by local company RunThrough. RunThrough organise fun and affordable races over a variety of distances all over London and andrew scott robertson were delighted to support them by sponsoring the race.

Wimbledon Club Squash Squared Open

The Wimbledon Club will for the first time in its history host a prestigious PSA (Professional Squash Association) Tournament comprising 16 of the world?s top players from 13th – 18th March 2016. The Wimbledon Club Squash Squared Open will have an overall prize fund of $25,000 on offer to the players, making our event the largest squash tournament ever to be held in Wimbledon and one of only 2 clubs in the UK to host such a significant event.

The tournament will operate in partnership with the UK?s first urban squash program, Squash Squared. Not only does the program provide free squash coaching to motivated children from low-income, disadvantaged families, but it also offers free educational tutoring.

Festive fun in Wimbledon Village

We were delighted to host the Knitting Group from local charity, the Wimbledon Guild, as part of this year’s Christmas in the Village festivities. The ladies raised ?545 through the sale of their beautiful knitted gifts. These funds will enable the Guild to continue its work in the borough of Merton by providing practical help for people in crisis, hardship grants, talking therapy, befriending and activities for older people.

Celebrating 40 years of business in style!

Thank you to the local businesses, charities, clients and staff past and present who helped us celebrate our 40th anniversary in style last week at the Royal Wimbledon Golf Club. We enjoyed an afternoon of swing music led by the Mississippi Swamp Dogs followed by a luncheon hosted by the leader of Merton Council, Stephen Alambritis. Here’s to the next 40 years!

October 2015 Residential Market Survey released

?The RICS October Residential Market Survey results show that ?house prices have risen across all parts of the UK for the third consecutive month, and are expected to rise by 4.5% per annum over the next five years as demand from potential buyers grows and continues to considerably outpace supply”.

Price momentum remains firm, with the headline price balance coming in at +49% compared with +44% in September. Buyer demand grew at a more moderate pace during October with a net balance of +12% of contributors reporting a rise, down from +18% the previous month. However, due to the ongoing shortage of new instructions coming to market, demand continues to outpace supply across most parts of the UK. In fact, the supply of new instructions coming to the market decreased for the ninth month in succession, with a net balance of +10% of respondents reporting a fall; instructions have only increased in one month since the middle of 2014.
