Andrews & Robertson’s Second sale of 2012

Posted by

Welcome to Andrews and Robertson?s March catalogue and we hope you find something of interest among the 98 lots that we are offering on behalf of a diverse range of clients.

Despite continuing global economic uncertainty and instability in the Eurozone there was no sign of a slowdown in investment activity at our debut sale of 2012. Indeed our 21 February auction has raised in excess of ?23m including swift numbers of sales post, our highest single result in two years.
Our success rate stands at 76% as we go to press and three out of four properties have sold for an average price of ?230,000, a figure that is well within the affordability limits of private investors searching for a safe home for their money and equity.

Our catalogue is filled with a rich variety of vacant, investment and development stock: comprising residential, commercial, mixed -use properties and ground rents, many located in investor’s favoured parts of the UK – London and the Home Counties.

Though we are seeing solid demand for high yielding regional stock, it is fair to say that London and Home Counties properties producing good returns, vacant residential stock, and properties with development potential remained the most in favour and are trading at premium.

Our February auction brought 106 properties located within the M25 to the market. 83 were sold, raising a total of ?20m.

We are offering keenly priced stock on behalf of vendors including: The London Boroughs of Enfield and Greenwich, Mountview Estates plc, Treasury Solicitor, Executors, LPA Receivers and Mortgagees.

We hope you find something of interest and would like to draw your attention to the following:

2 Salisbury Cottages, Merrow Street, Guildford, Surrey: A freehold vacant two floor semi-detached house, in the same ownership for over 25 years. Guide Price:?260,000+
